We had such an exciting day today! Exploris Aquarium travelled on the ferry boat all the way from Portaferry to see us! Blair, from Exploris, had brought a huge touch-tank with lots of water, seaweed, rocks and pebbles.....and sea creatures! We were allowed to touch them too!
We saw; crabs, lobsters, sea snails, starfish, sunstars, mussels...and even a hermit crab, scurrying into its shell!
It was a very interesting morning and the children listened so carefully and joined in so well!
