We were so pleased to see Pete from “Habitat for Humanity” this morning. Pete told us about the important work the charity does; making safe, strong houses. We then listened carefully and joined in with the story of the Three Pigs and talked about which house was the strongest!
Pete told us that Habitat for Humanity build and repair houses in Ireland, and all around the world. They recycle lots of furniture donated to them, to help others.
We had a wonderful time learning all about different types of homes, and the fantastic work that Habitat for Humanity does.
