Habitat for Humanity
6th Apr 2022
This morning we had a visit from Pete, who works for the charity Habitat for Humanity. We. Listened carefully to the story of The Three Pigs, and the we decided which would be the strongest house for the pigs to build! Pete then told us about the important work that Habitat for Humanity do; they build safe, strong houses for people to live in... in Ireland, and all around the world, too!
We then watched a short video about the Habitat for Humanity Shop in Lisburn, and looked at all the recycled and up-cycled household items that they sell. We even had a lovely pencil and booklet, all about this worthwhile charity, to take home!
