The weather stayed dry as we all competed in our Sports Day this morning! We were all so excited; we listened carefully to Mrs Gormley's instructions and then did our very best to finish each race! First, we had a running race, them it was the fish-in -a- bucket race, and finally, the apron and hat race! We had so much fun! We all cheered each other and made lots of noise! When it was over, we had a chocolate bar and juice (for a wee treat!).... and then completed our Daily Mile Challenge!
We had a picnic lunch in the classroom; yummy sandwiches, crisps and an ice-lolly. What a fantastic day! The children were so well behaved and tried so hard to finish each race. Have a look at our lovely photos.
